Ocean × Islands = Power Hubs

From Renewable Energy to Digital Power

Japan is a maritime nation of 14,125* islands.

Through Battery Tankers, island and port microgrids, and offshore data centers,

we aim to strengthen Japan’s energy self-sufficiency.

Island Microgrids

By installing utility-scale battery systems on remote islands, we enable hybrid energy operations that integrate renewables with thermal generation. This ensures grid stability while accelerating energy self-reliance and decarbonization.

Island Data Centers

We pair PowerX's data center solution (Mega Power DC) with battery storage, powered by island-generated renewables, to integrate energy and digital infrastructure (Watt x Bit) —building sustainable, resilient data platforms.

Battery Tanker

We create an offshore power grid that maximizes renewable resources at sea. In addition to island-to-island and island-to-mainland transmission, Battery Tankers enable offshore wind integration and meet new marine energy demands such as floating data centers.

Offshore Data Centers

Floating data centers overcome conventional grid and site limitations, accelerating deployment. Integrated with Battery Tankers, they provide greater transmission flexibility and expanded siting possibilities.
